The Girl Talk Program
Girls face many issues that can affect grades, home life,
friendships and self-esteem.The Future Knowledge Center for Women is offering a safe
environment in which these issues are explored: Confidence, Competence,

Parenting Classes
The principal objective of
the course is to help build parenting confidence so that parents could
maintain a positive relationship with the foundation of love and understanding.
Career Services
On Mondays and Wednesdays,
from 5:30 to 7 p.m. any individual from ages 16 and up can come in if he or she
needs help on resume development, job training or skills assessment.
Mentorship
Program
This program is available to children and adults. The mentee is assigned to a mentor of the same sex to help the mentee accomplish individual goals.
Life Skills Program
The
Life Skills Program is aimed towards helping adults and teenagers with coping
skills, self-respect, problem solving, and developing good communication
skills.
Academic/Educational
Counseling
As
more and more women are rethinking their lifestyle, they are returning to
school to expand their knowledge and to complete or begin their education. It
is important to have academic information and guidance available.
Job Bank
Includes
helpful information for people who are looking for a job. Things such as job
postings and job search resources are available at the FKCW.
